Laboratory

Accreditation has gained international recognition as a vital tool for ensuring the technical competence of laboratories. More than just a mark of quality, it provides assurance that test results are reliable, traceable and valid, meeting both regulatory requirements and client expectations.

In an increasingly regulated, competitive, and demanding landscape, where speed and accuracy in analysis are critical, AGROLAB Ibérica's expansion of accredited testing clearly reflects our commitment to continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and responsiveness to the evolving challenges of the agri-food sector.

Following the successful completion of a new and rigorous evaluation by ENAC (Entidad Nacional de Acreditación), we are pleased to announce that our laboratories in Tarragona and Burgos have recently expanded their scope of accreditation to include a range of tests tailored to current market demands, such as:

  • Alternative microbiological tests, which reduce analysis times compared to traditional ISO/AFNOR methods
  • Parameters indicating hygiene and health status:
    • Determination of biogenic amines in food and feed
  • Contaminants:
    • Aflatoxins and Ochratoxin A in food and feed
    • Heavy metals in various matrices such as food, feed, and food additives
  • Product quality parameters:
    • Acidity of fat
    • Peroxide value
  • Nutritional parameters:
    • Sugar determination by titration
  • Tests required by GAFTA (Grain and Feed Trade Association) for laboratory approval by this organization

The accreditation of these latest tests also opens up new opportunities for us in the global feed and grain market.

YOUR PLUS: The new accreditations allow us to offer our clients a more comprehensive, streamlined service tailored to their actual needs and the most demanding international standards. You can consult the details of our new accredited scopes or contact our sales team for more information.
