Shortened approval period for pesticide active Flutriafol

With Regulation (EU) 2021/726 of 4 May 2021, the EU Commission shortened the approval period for the active substance flutriafol, as no extension application was submitted.

National decisions regarding use-by dates are to be expected, as the regulation does not specify any such dates. These could be between 6 and 18 months. Only after these periods have expired are the maximum residue limits likely to be lowered to 0.01 mg/kg, insofar as higher limits still exist for individual crops at present.
