At the beginning of February, Berlin was once again the meeting place for the global fruit trade. Despite freezing temperatures, 90,000 international trade visitors from 150 countries and almost 3,000 exhibitors attended the leading trade fair for fruit and vegetables.
One visitor was our sales representative Natalie Scholz, who has summarised her personal impressions in her report here.
Deep insights into market trends and technological developments
This year, I had the opportunity to visit FRUIT LOGISTICA – the world's leading trade fair for the global fruit and vegetable trade – in Berlin.
The trade fair attracted players from across the entire value chain: from producers to retailers and logistics companies to suppliers of the latest technology and packaging solutions: in total of 90,000 trade visitors from 151 countries – a clear sign of Berlin's international importance as a meeting place for the industry.
🤝As a representative from the field of food analysis, the visit was very valuable for me personally.
I was able to have many exciting discussions with relevant contacts from trade, production and service. Food safety and traceability within the flow of goods are important issues for quality managers, and we can support them in many ways with our services.
Despite the large number of visitors, the atmosphere in the halls was relaxed and less hectic than at similar trade fairs.
📍 For me personally, FRUIT LOGISTICA is one of the most important platforms for gaining direct, first-hand insights in a perfect setting.
