Four AGROLAB sites successfully awarded with the EcoVadis rating

AGROLAB is consistently advancing its sustainability strategy: four sites have already been successfully awarded with the international EcoVadis rating – a clear sign of the Group’s commitment to making sustainability measurable and firmly anchored in all areas.

 

At AGROLAB, sustainability is not an isolated project but an integral part of the corporate strategy. Our goal is to permanently combine ecological, social, and ethical responsibility with sound economic activity. This means using resources efficiently, ensuring fair working conditions, and building sustainable supply chains.

Measurable sustainability: The EcoVadis approach

To make progress objectively verifiable, AGROLAB relies on the internationally recognised EcoVadis rating. The platform assesses companies in four key areas:

  • Environment
  • Labour and Human Rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable Procurement

 

The assessment is based on scientifically sound methods and international standards. More than 130,000 companies worldwide use EcoVadis to document their sustainability performance transparently and to drive continuous improvement.

The sites already certified include:

  • AGROLAB Labor GmbH (Bronze)
  • AGROLAB Potsdam GmbH (Bronze)
  • AGROLAB Institut für Mineralölprodukte und Umweltanalytik GmbH (Silver)
  • AGROLAB Italia S.r.l. a socio unico (Silver)

 

Sustainability as part of our corporate culture

The results so far confirm that AGROLAB already takes responsibility in many areas – particularly in environmental management, social and labour standards, and ethical business conduct. Measures to reduce environmental impact, uphold social standards, and take first steps toward sustainable procurement were rated especially positively.

 

These achievements reflect a lived corporate culture that focuses on continuous improvement, transparency, and measurable results.
