Chicken nuggets from the 3-D printer ?

A large American chicken fryer is experimenting with a Russian IT start-up with the aim of producing chicken nuggets in a 3D printer in the future.

What sounds like an idea of a science fiction author could soon become reality. Even the current fast-food product, which is offered in the typical red-and-white striped cardboard buckets, may already contain more "food technology" than muscle meat. It is therefore quite logical that in the future, chicken muscle cells, spices, breadcrumbs and other ingredients will be used to print the fried bites from the bio-printer - but for the time being probably only in Russia!
