The approval period for Chlorpyrifos expires in January 2020 and, according to EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), the statutory criteria for renewal of approval in the EU are not met.
Chlorpyrifos and Metalaxyl in sunflower oleic acid from Eastern Europe
GMP+ International reports contamination of sunflower oleic acid batches from Eastern Europe with the pesticides Chlorpyrifos and Metalaxyl. Such impurities were found especially in products from Ukraine. According to current knowledge, these are batches from the 2018 harvest.
Ragweed in feedingstuffs from France
In the first months of 2019, the Early Warning System of GMP+ International recorded various cases of contaminated feed lots with ragweed. The contaminated feed lots, most of which came from France, were barley, soybeans, sorghum and sunflower seeds (2018 harvest). It is expected that further contaminated batches will be discovered.
AGROLAB GmbH moves to Landshut - More space for growth of AGROLAB Labor GmbH in Bruckberg
Four years after the extension was completed in 2015, the Bruckberg site is already bursting at the seams again. Unfortunately, expansion directly at the site is no longer possible, as all possible resources have been exhausted. Therefore AGROLAB GmbH moves to Landshut until the end of the year.

Pesticide analysis: Matrine and oxymatrine integrated in the residue portfolio
The „GOLD“ and „PLATIN“ packages have been amended by the actives matrine and oxamatrine due to market demands recently. It comprises the multi-methods for the examination of fresh fruit, vegetables and potatoes.

Therefore, AGROLAB continues to meet the requirements for a laboratory for the "VLOG-geprüft" labeling of your feed in the context of the new "Ohne Gentechnik" production and certification standard V19.01.
